Hi I'm Sue!
I'm 46 years old and live in London, UK. I live with my husband our 2 cats, Simba and Marley and our 2 horses, Athena and Amber.
I choose to start my own business because I am passionate about helping others and I wanted to do it on my own terms!​​​​​​​
I am the only human in Black Star however, I have my cat, Marley who is our office manager and lets me know when he feels like I have spent too long on the computer.

I also have my horse, Athena who teachs me lessons all the time about being a leader, showing kindness and compassion. Our bond is built from mutual trust and respect.​​​​​​​​​

About Black Star HR
Where did the name come from?
The name Black Star was choosen in honour of my beloved cat, Tipsy we rescued her and she was with us for 14 years, until she passed aged 21 in May 2024.
She was my little star, who was with me through a lot of life challenges - we had a special bond and I am blessed to have had her in my life.

HR is the profession through which I gained a lot of my knowledge, skills and experience - so I did not want to forget where things started.
