Hello, I’m Sue. I believe people deserve more than performance reviews and productivity hacks—they deserve to feel valued, supported, and genuinely inspired.

With over 20 years of experience in Corporate HR, Training, and Coaching, and as a qualified Mental Health First Aider, I’m passionate about empowering individuals and businesses to thrive.  My approach blends emotional intelligence, practical insight, and a deep respect for the whole person.

I founded Black Star HR to do things differently—to offer support on my own terms, in ways that feel human, inclusive, and aligned with what truly matters.​
